At 24 and 25 april 2010 you can meet us at the 'Spezialradmesse' in Germersheim, Germany(www.spezialradmesse.de). You can have a look and try our tandem 'Double Dutch', the latest version of 'Janus' our back to back tandem, and the 'Estrellita', our successful children's recumbent.
New customers for Altena-bike.
Altena-bike welcomes a new group of customers. From Finland came a request to make an adjustment to the 'Estrellita' for little people. Below some photos from Sanna who is delighted and happy with her new Altena bike.
Our latest branch on the recumbent tree is our children's recumbent the “Estrellita”.
We developed this bike during 2007 and is now ready to be riden by as large a number of children as possible. It was tested by Alan Goodman's children and in the attached you may find a copy of the review he wrote for the Velovision magazin of december 2007.
The text is self-explanatory and invite your children to try the bike at D-tek, London recumbents, Bikefix or Wheelyfunwheels in Chesterfield.

The York CycleShow was a great succes. It was the first time we exhibited our recumbents and recumbent-tandems in England and found people to be very positive.
The two days were full of discussions with people who were all very enthousiastic about our bycicles. Some made a testride and others, for the first time on a recumbent, found riding a recumbent much easier than they thought. They commented on the full-suspension, the looks and the completeness of the bikes. The photographs give you some impression, varying from Bo the Clown on a 'Finisterra' to Tom and Sue making a testride on a 'Double-Dutch' tandem.
